IN-DEMAND JOBS IN THE PHILIPPINES FOR 2026 REPORT INSIGHTS

As 2026 begins, many Filipinos are thinking about their next career move. The job market continues to change.

To help jobseekers, Jobstreet by SEEK released In-Demand Jobs Wrapped. The report shows which jobs employers searched for the most last year.

Jobs Employers Need the Most

Overall, Administration and Office Support leads hiring demand. It makes up 28.6% of all job posts on the platform.

Next, Engineering roles follow at 10.2%. These jobs remain important across many industries.

Meanwhile, Education and Training roles account for 9.2% of listings. Call Center and Customer Service jobs follow closely at 9.1%.

After that, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) roles make up 6.6% of job posts.

In addition, employers continue to hire for Accounting (5.8%) and Sales (5.0%) roles. Manufacturing, Transport, and Logistics jobs account for 4.7%.

Meanwhile, Retail and Consumer Products roles stand at 2.7%. Marketing and Communications roles follow at 2.6%.

Looking ahead, Jobstreet by SEEK expects these jobs to stay in demand in 2026.

Where Jobseekers Come From

On the other hand, Jobstreet by SEEK also tracked jobseeker activity.

Notably, candidates from Call Center and Customer Service lead the platform. They make up 12.3% of active jobseekers.

Next, jobseekers from Hospitality and Tourism follow at 9.8%. Manufacturing, Transport, and Logistics candidates account for 8%.

Meanwhile, ICT professionals make up 7.5% of jobseekers. Engineering professionals follow at 6.5%.

Jobs Outlook for 2026

This year, digital change continues to shape hiring. As a result, tech-related jobs continue to grow.

In particular, companies now use AI tools and automation more often. Because of this, employers need skilled workers.

At the same time, jobseekers want flexible work options. They also prefer companies with strong values.

These values include ESG, diversity, and inclusion.
